Christian Formation
Good Shepherd strives to educate members and prospective members about Christianity through a variety of avenues.
Christian Formation
When you think about Christian Formation, fun is probably the last thing that crosses your mind. At Good Shepherd, we incorporate a fun and friendly approach to teaching our parishioners about the life of Jesus Christ. Examples include a weekly potluck supper and program during the Lenten season, a Sunday morning Book Group, and three lay-led Bible Study sessions weekly. We try to provide a variety of opportunities for people to enjoy the company of fellow parishioners and deepen their knowledge and experience of the Christian faith.
The Next Generation
Good Shepherd understands that having educated youth is crucial to maintaining a healthy church family. We strive to have our children involved in the everyday life of the church, and instill the value of Christian living in them early in their church lives.
Our youth have the chance to serve as acolytes, participate in youth outings, help with our outreach activities, read Bible passages during worship and act in occasional drama productions.
